Eltham Green Community Church is based in Eltham, South East London. Our worship times are expressive, we give praise to God through singing and praying. Our times of worship are congregational, in that we believe that every member of the church has something to give when we meet together.
We meet each week to learn from the bible, so we may know God better and live out the teaching in the bible. We also meet each week in small groups as a way of better supporting one another, caring for one another and learning together. We are very keen on developing our provision for children and young people with various activities on Sunday and through the week. There is provision for them every Sunday from 0 to 18 years old.
Ultimately our purpose is to know Christ and to make him known, everything we do springs from that. Our vision is to see a Christian in every home in Eltham. For us this is our destination, where we are directed. As this may take some time we see our strategy as our short term vision/ goals. If we are to see our community come know Jesus then we want people to see Jesus in us. Through various activities and events we have seen a increase in people coming to our church meetings and activities, feeling more at ease coming into our church building.
Currently we have activities for Mothers and Toddlers in Little Angels and Mini Maestros music group, Superkidz Reloaded! kids club, Elevate youth group, Time-out coffee club and the Well Cafe.
Our church building provides accommodation for full or part time workers. This includes a three bedroom flat and a one bedroom flat.
