The Call to the help of the Lord

This message is a specific word for the church here in Eltham, a message that will challenge and inspire. God is calling us to come to the help of the Lord. You may say, “Me? What can I do? – how does God need my help?” this morning we can look at what God does with those who willingly give themselves to him, and what he doesn’t do when we don’t!

Running the race without falling

Jesus was not a suspicious person. But he was realistic and he understood that every man or woman regularly faces moments when failure is a strong possibility. However, he seemed to be less concerned about the failure and more concerned about the need to learn from the failure and receive the grace that is offered when one is properly humbled. Rachel talks about failure and the proper response to times of failure.

How to find us
The church is situated in Eltham, South East London.
From the M25 follow the A2 towards London. Turn off at Eltham, turn left we are just on the left hand side past the Co-op.
From the Blackwall Tunnel follow the A102 till it becomes the A2 and turn off at Eltham, turn right and we are on the left hand side past the Co-op.
By Train - we are a short walk from Eltham Train Station. Cross over the lights and walk down Sherard Road and turn right into Prince John Road. When you get to the small roundabout take the 3rd left and walk down Keynsham Road, at the next roundabout take the 3rd exit and go to the end of Lionel Road. Turn right and we are past the community centre on the right hand side.
