Junior church

Sunday 11.00 am to 12.00 pm (term time only)

60 minutes packed with fun. Take a church, add some kids, season with ingredients from Dick + Dom in Da Bungalow & Tiswas - & you’ve got Junior Church! Messy games and team challenges, bible stories brought to life in drama and weekly colouring competiton with prizes.

Each term has a theme, like, Wild West, Camelot or Barmy Army.

IT’S OFFICIAL: No more boring weekends. Check it out. If you’re between 5 & 11 years old - it’s the best place to be on a Sunday morning.

Our History: We’ve been running kids clubs on the Page Estate for nearly ten years - maybe you know someone who came to Coconut Club, HMS Adventure or The Wave? We currently run a pre-school activity called Little Angels. We work closely with Superkidz Project on the Ferrier Estate, which runs out of school activities for kids and youth.

Our Aim: We want kids in our local community to grow up making good decisions for their lives. In our teaching slot we encourage kids to keep out of crime, tell the truth & show respect to all. We welcome kids from all religious or non-religious backgrounds.

Serious Bit:

As a church we take Child Protection very seriously. We are implementing a Child Protection Policy in conjunction with the Churches Child Protection Advisory Service. We have a mandatory policy of running a Police Check (CRB Check) on all our volunteers. All our volunteers are well known to us.

Eltham Green Community Church is based in Eltham, South East London. Our desire is for all people to come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

We particularly look to get the good news into the local community through the clubs and events we put on and also by building up relationships with the local residents.

Our worship times are expressive, we give praise to God through singing and praying. Our times of worship are congregational, in that we believe that every member of the church has something to give when we meet together.

We meet each week to learn from the bible, so we may know God better and live out the teaching in the bible. We also meet each week in small groups as a way of better supporting one another, caring for one another and learning together.

We are very keen on developing our provision for children and young people with Junior Church and the Youth group. We provide for them every Sunday from 0 to 17 years old.

Our mission statement is to meet the needs of the people, we may not be able to do everything, but we seek to do so and as we grow the more we can meet the needs which can be met through Jesus Christ.

Our history: where we come from
Our vision : where we are going
What we believe
Leadership

We believe in a living relevant God who sent his only Son Jesus Christ to make a great change in our lives. We believe this message is just as relevant now as it has ever been.

In our church we enjoy open worship and bible based teaching, we believe church is not just a coming together of believers but a family. Through our small groups we enjoy close support and friendship.

elev8Welcome to the 12-17 age of the church here in Eltham. We are a group of youth who have found something in church life that is attractive. We make friends, we do great socials but many of us have found something in Jesus Christ that we never really expected!

You may not have considered church something for you, but consider this first - if God is real, and His Son Jesus did get sent down to earth, a first century Superman, and if He did die for me on the worst form of execution known to man. Then its something worth investigating..

We investigate the truth, cos if its out there, then we want a part of it…

… oh and we believe we have found it.

Winning the battle is not just done in the valley, but up on the mountain. In this message John Watson explains the great picture of prayer found in the Old Testament.
